Kayak Instruction

Private Instruction
Do you feel you could benefit from a one day private lesson?

Perhaps our group class schedule doesn't meet with your schedule, or you have a specific need in mind. Whatever the reason, private instruction is available for lake, river or rolling sessions. A full day course is 6-7 hours in length. Half days are 3 1/2 hours. Lake courses are held on Boulder Reservoir and river classes are on Boulder Creek. Other rivers are possible. Mileage will be billed at $.50/mile if other locations are used.

If you want to be part of a group class, we may be able to match you up with other people that want the same instruction. Please give us a call and we will add you to our list of people to combine to form a class.
Two Hour Private Classes:

Half and Full Day Private Classes:

1 Person
$275/day
 
$180/half day
2 People
$175/day
$135/half day
3 or more People
$145/day
$115/half day

Refund Policy
Classes cancelled 48 hours or more in advance are able to be rescheduled (subject to availability) without penalty. Within 48 hours of the class start time, funds are committed and you will be charged for the class. Refunds will only be given if RA Guides is unable to provide the class as described.

Private Instruction or Clinic rate? If you would like a class that is not listed, not on the best dates for your schedule or you do not want to pay for private instruction, please give us a call. We will work with you to find other people that want the same class and schedule as you. For most clinics, once we have 5 students, the clinic is at our regular fees.
